Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus surface again, come with Snapdragon chipsets

Some of the specs were double-confirmed by a live photo which also revealed the Snapdragon chipset that will power the Redmi 5 phones. The will arrive with 5.7 screen with the popular FullView display with 18:9 ratio. The chipset will be Snapdragon 450 a 14nm process unit with octa-core CPU and Adreno 506 GPU. The camera on the back will be 12 MP. The Redmi 5 Plus, on the other hand, comes with a taller 5.99 display and Snapdragon 625. It has virtually the same architecture as the 450, but it supports 4K video. We are yet to see if the Plus version will record in Ultra HD, once the devices are announced tomorrow. |
