Alleged 3G Nokia 3310 (2017) clears FCC


A new phone from HMD Global has been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It's a 3G device that carries the model designation TA-1036, and is likely to be the 3G variant of . The existing Nokia 3310 (2017) goes by TA-1030, while length and width match between the two devices. HMD had dropped hints last month about such a variant, but stopped short of revealing or confirming anything. Coming back to the certification, it also reveals the handset will support the following 2G/3G bands in the US: GSM850: 824.2 MHz ~ 848.8 MHz GSM1900: 1850.2 MHz ~ 1909.8 MHz WCDMA Band II: 1852.4 MHz ~ 1907.6 MHz WCDMA Band V: 826.4 MHz ~ 846.6 MHz Reports have it that this new, 3G variant will be announced alongside .
